Our Facility
BarkMore Park has proudly served the Asheville community since 1984, making us the longest standing dog daycare and lodging facility in the area. Today, we are proudly woman and veteran owned and operated. We remain a locally run small business, not a corporation, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community.
Our long history reflects our deep commitment to safety, enrichment, and a genuine love for dogs. From our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor play areas to our climate controlled overnight accommodations, everything we do is focused on your dog’s happiness and well-being.
The HVAC system in our kennels feature iWave antimicrobial technology to keep your pup’s air quality clean and comfortable while they sleep. For soundproofing, our kennels have noise-absorbing acoustic panels to reduce the sound of barking or any loud noises that might cause stress during your pup’s stay.
Our play yards combine the best of both worlds— an outdoor fresh air experience where dogs get to sniff and enjoy natural smells and sounds, with covered areas to keep them safe from the elements or overheating. During the winter, we have an indoor yard, as well as a heated outdoor yard to keep them cosy, while still providing lots of fun play opportunities. In the summer, we love pulling out the doggie pools and sprinklers for the pups to cool off, or just enjoy a romp in the water. Our outdoor covered yards feature large ceiling fans to always keep the air moving, and our indoor yard is air-conditioned for those days that prefer some serious cool-off time.
